1 |
We
start our tour with introductions all around at the Denarau Marina and become seafarers on the traditional tall
ship, Spirit of the Pacific. We cruise the Mamanuca Islands and venture
into the Yasawa group. You'll stay overnight in traditional bures (houses)
on Drawaqa Island or you may prefer to sleep on board in a sailors berth. |

2 |
Today
you'll trek the island, sail around the islands, and snorkel in the clear
waters checking out the coral reefs and their inhabitants. Tonight's our
last night together and there's no-one here to disturb as we party to the
small hours. You'll be rocked to sleep in your seaside bure by the gentle
sound of the waves on the shore. |

3 |
We
leave Drawaqa on board Spirit of the Pacific and say goodbye to the Yasawa
group of islands as we enjoy the waters around the Mamanuca islands, Tivua
Island and finally say farewell to everyone as we return to the
Beachcomber Island Resort where we will have cocktails and dinner
and maybe dancing on the beach! |

4 |
A
relaxed start to the day and transfer to Sonaisali Resort and relax by the fabulous
pool and enjoy relaying the stories
of the last 4 days!. Options today can be diving, shopping trip, and the
many free activities at the resort |

5 |
Enjoy
a great breakfast before we transfer to the Sigatoka River for a great
cruise up the river and a traditional bamboo raft trip back down in the
same traditional style as is still practiced by villagers today.
Dinner at Sonaisali Island
Resort will finish off another great day

6 |
It's an early start as we
are picked up by the Lagilagi and take a 4 hour fast cat cruise along the
north western Sunshine Coast and across the Bligh Waters to the northern
island town of Savusavu.
Lunch in Savusavu before an
afternoon trek through rainforest, swimming in cool mountainous rivers and
the opportunity to see a wide variety of indigenous flora and fauna in an
area developed as a National Heritage site. Dinner
at the Savusavu Hot Springs Hotel, overlooking Savusavu Bay as the sun
goes down will put the end on a memorable day. |

7 |
Take
a leisurely start today. You've earned it. You have a day of choices
and the choice is yours. Try fishing, diving on some of the world famous
dive sites surrounding Savusavu, mountainbiking, a 4WD trip to Labasa or
for those with serious relaxation on the agenda, just laze around the
pool. These options are NOT included in your tour but can be arranged by
your Fathom Host. (*Lunch is not included today) Meeting
for dinner will give everyone the chance to compare experiences and talk
about their day. |

8 |
Vanua
Levu is the unhurried north of Fiji and today you get the opportunity to
experience the true beauty of the north for yourself as we cruise the
Hibiscus Highway to Naweni village and the home of the "cooked
prawn" or Ura Buta. Spend time with Fijians in a real life Fijian
village. You'll be
back to Savusavu Hot Springs in time for a swim in the pool or drinks on
the terrace before dinner as the sun goes down on yet another classic day
in the beautiful north of Fiji |

9 |
This
morning starts with an unhurried breakfast and a spot of early sea
kayaking on Savusavu Bay before catching the Lagilagi and getting them to
drop us of at Wananavu resort on the northern coast of Viti Levu
After cocktails, we will
have our farewell dinner tonight. |

After
a relaxed breakfast we board our coach for the great drive down the coast
back to Nadi, via Ba. The trip takes approximately two and a half hours |
