| Located off the Northern coast of Vanua Levu just
inside the Great Sea Reef, one of the largest pristine barrier reefs in the world,
Nukubati Island is the site of a very exclusive resort. Built in the style of an old
coconut plantation, the resort is surrounded by lush coconut groves and a white coral sand
beach facing a tranquil bay. This unique hideaway is limited to only fourteen guests at a

| With only seven bungalows, or "bures" as
they are known in Fiji, including two extremely romantic honeymoon bures, privately owned
Nukubati Island is a tiny jewel set amongst the 330 islands which constitute the Fijian
chain. Just a few feet from the beach, the bures feature separate living and sleeping
rooms, a very private sunbathing patio, and a large verandah with spectacular sunset
views.

| Nukubati has a dedicated staff of 40
catering to only 14 guests - a good ratio by anyone's standard! Food is "Nouveau
Fijian", and always fresh from the sea. Lobster, crab, clams, coral fish and lovos,
spicy curries, and coconut desserts are some of the delicacies on the menu. The island's
garden provides a range of fresh fruit and vegetables. The kitchen, unlike many other
resorts, is open all day, and late into the night. If you feel like a three-course meal in
mid-morning, just before lunchtime, it's yours for the asking. There are no set meal
times, so if you are inclined to join the island festivities until the early hours of the
morning, you will never have to worry about missing breakfast, or any other meal! |

Diving
The Great Sea Reef is reputed to be the third largest barrier
reef in the world. Nukubati Island is situated near a proposed World Heritage area just
inside of the reef, and is the only resort in Fiji with access to this protected
waters.
Guests will have the opportunity of being among the first
underwater explorers of this pristine area. A unique "Name your own Dive Site"
program allows you the privilege of naming a previously unexplored site, and your chosen
name will be permanently recorded for posterity!
Preliminary diving excursions have revealed great walls of soft
coral, massive staghorn coral formations, and abundant sea life - including manta rays and
turtles! SCUBA diving on Nukubati is open to certified divers only. The island features a
new dive boat, and is equipped with top of the line Apollo dive gear.
