Matangi Island is a 240 acre privately owned island situated 190 miles northeast of Nadi, the home of Fiji's International Airport, and 150 miles east of Suva, Fiji's capital city.It's an island of its own, secluded, yet close to its island neighbours. The island of Taveuni offers the closest domestic airport to Matangi Island.



	Honeymoon and Weddings The Treehouse Bures have been created especially for couples. Built 30 feet off the ground in the branches of a large tree, each has a large bedroom, bath and sitting room surrounded by windows looking out over the trees and aquamarine waters of the Tasman Straits to the islands of Taveuni and Vanua Levu. A superb view. Each morning you awake to the sound of birds and a cooling sea breeze. A private verandah is a romantic location for viewing the sunset or the stars over a bottle of champagne.
You can choose to spend your honeymoon days together with a specially prepared private picnic on magnificent Horseshoe Bay, (only accessible by boat) or at Bouma Falls on Taveuni Island, sunbathing on the white sand beach in front of your Treehouse, strolling through our gardens and enjoying a private dinner for two on the beach. Or, you may prefer to hike around the island, visit a local Fiji village, scuba dive or snorkle and join the other guests for dinner to share stories about the day's activities. Whatever you choose, your Treehouse Honeymoon will be an unforgettable tropical adventure to share with your new partner.

Round trip transfers between Taveuni Airport and Matangi Island are F$80 per adult, no charge for children 16 years and under. All our accommodations have private facilities, daily maid service with evening turn down service, mini bar and a coffee/tea making facilities. Children are welcome all year round. Children under 12 years of age are required to have their evening meal/supper prior to adults.
