Garden Island's oceanfront accommodations are very close to the water's edge. All  ocean-facing.  Each room is air-conditioned and has a queen bed and a single bed, a shower and bath, a refrigerator, telephone and coffee/tea making facilities. 28 of the rooms can accommodate up to three guests each. In addition, there are two dorm rooms, each with 4 single beds, a private bath and shower, a refrigerator, and coffee/tea making facilities. Garden Island also offers Family Rooms, which are two adjoining rooms for up to four persons.

There are many Tours available from the resort including a 25 minute walk to the Wairiki Mission, Lake Tagimouca a famous landmark, cultural village tours, the beautiful Bouma Falls. Horse riding and kayaking are also available
