DAY 1
We spend the first two
days exploring the beauty of Kakadu National Park. The experience
begins with a bush walk through ancient Aboriginal art sites to the
breathtaking view from OBIRR ROCK, overlooking the wetlands. We will
also visit the Information Centre and more amazing ancient
Aboriginal rock art sites at NORLANGIE ROCK. We then cycle onto Cooinda,
home of the YELLOW WATERS BOAT CRUISE. Our camp tonight is where the
aroma of barbecued buffalo, kangaroo, or barramundi lingers from the
restaurant… |

DAY 2
The Yellow Waters Boat
cruise leaves early this morning. It is optional, but highly
recommended for the most spectacular array of wet lands bird life -
and usually quite a few salt water crocodiles, too! On the bikes
again for a road ride through the woodlands before travelling to the
South of the park for a well deserved swim. A rock climb to the top of
WATERFALL CREEK lookout gives a magnificent view of
the plunge pool below, and the setting sun.
DAY 3
Riding from camp, we
head towards the little known ‘Rock hole’ waterfall for a refreshing
dip! We then travel
southwest in the four wheel drive to PINE CREEK historical gold mining
town, before cycling to our camp, at Sandy Creek falls, in LITCHFIELD
NATIONAL PARK. |

DAY
4
Our
last day is spent riding into the haunting rock formations of the
LOST CITY, then bush walking, swimming and relaxing around the
plunge pools below the magnificent FLORENCE AND WANGI FALLS. After 4 days of
sights and experiences you’ll never forget, we arrive into Darwin in
the late afternoon. |
