Day 1: Perth - Lynton Station. We
depart Perth and make our way to Western Australia's unique Pinnacle
Desert. After walking throught this desert of limestone spiers, we travel
to the city of Geraldton, here we go sand boarding on the huge white sand
dunes before continuing north on our way to the historic Lynton convict
settlement, now run as a typical Aussie wheat and sheep farm. Overnight

Day 2: Lynton Station
- Nanga Bay. Today we explore coastal and inland regions of
Kalbarri N/Park including the coastal gorges and "The Loop"
seeing abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery. Continue north to Shark
Bay and the Stromatolites before continuing to the coastal sheep station
of Nanga Bay. Overnight Nanga Bay. (B/L/D)
Day 3: Nanga Bay
- Warroora Station. This morning we
visit the dolphins of Monkey Mia, one of a few places in the world
dolphins from the “wild” come to meet people. The morning is spent
interacting with these amazing creatures (Dolphin appearance not
guaranteed). Take the opportunity to go sailing in the Bay. We bid the
dolphins’ farewell, as we travel to Shell Beach, before continuing north
via Carnarvon to our overnight station stay. This sheep station is
situated on a 50km secluded stretch of the Ningaloo Reef. This evening
enjoy “camp oven cooking” by the campfire. Try our damper! Overnight

Day 4: Coral Bay -
Exmouth. This morning we leave
Warroora, taking in some of the sights of the track, often sighting
kangaroos, Emus and other wildlife. Arriving at our destination Coral Bay,
the point at which Ningaloo Reef is closest to the shore making it one of
the most accessible Coral Reefs in the world. With over 450 species of
fish and 250 species of coral as well as manta rays, dugong and dolphins
inhabiting, these sheltered waters, it is a must to snorkel, or take a
glass bottom boat tour. Mid afternoon we travel north past Cape Range
National Park to the northern end of Ningaloo and the town of Exmouth.

Day
5: Exmouth. Today we explore Exmouth, Cape Range and the
Ningaloo Reef. Here we can snorkel the clear waters of the Ningaloo Reef,
drift aimlessly over the coral of Turquoise Bay, or swim from a pure white
coral beach and view the extensive wildlife of the Cape Range including
the rare black footed Rock Wallaby on an optional cruise. Today
you have the time to join a Dive Boat for a day of diving this magnificent
Reef, or chase the elusive Whale Shark! Overnight Exmouth.
Day 6: Exmouth -
Auski Depart Exmouth and travel
through outback sheep and cattle stations to the Ashburton River and
Beazley River. After lunch continue through the ancient mountains of the
Hamersley Ranges with their spectacular rock formations and outback
scenery before we travel through the mining area of Tom Price enroute to
our overnight stay at Auski Tourist Village. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Karijini Today we head for
the amazing Karijini N/P for an adventurous day trekking gorges such
as: Weano Gorge, Hancock Gorge, Joffre
Gorge and Knox Gorge. After lunch we travel to Dales Gorge and do an
amazing trek through the bottom of the gorge to Fortescue Falls and Fern

Day 8: Auski -
Pardoo Following the Hamersley Ranges we make our way to Port
Hedland, the mining hub of Western Australia. Here we see the huge Iron
Ore Port and the Mile long trains that supply the ore. From Port Hedland
we travel north to our overnight camp Pardoo. (B/L/D)
Day 9: Pardoo -
Broome After an early swim at 80 Mile Beach we head north to
Broome. This is a direct run along highway number 1 and into Broome. We
arrive with time for a town tour of Broome and sunset on Cable Beach.

Day 10/11/12: Broome These
days are for you to relax and enjoy the many attractions of Broome and its
fascinating pearling history. (No meals are included on these days).
Day 13: Broome -
Windjana Gorge Depart Broome at 7:00 am and head to the Derby
Prison for a short visit. We now leave the bitumen behind us as we enter
the Gibb River Road, almost instantly we can feel the remoteness. A walk
up Windjana Gorge this afternoon is sure to impress. Camping overnight
Windjana National Park. (L/D)
Day 14: Windjana Gorge
- Bells Gorge This morning we’re off to Tunnel Creek, have your
bathers and torches ready. This amazing tunnel cuts through the Napier
Range and is rich in history, which your travel guide will explain. Afternoon sees us off to
Bells Gorge. Camping overnight Bells Gorge. (B/L/D)
Day 15: Bells Gorge - Mt Barnett
Station Leaving Bells Gorge this morning, we travel through the
beautiful scenery of the Kimberley’s highest mountain range, King Leopold
Ranges, on our way to Galvans Gorge. This gorge will tempt you for a swim. For those feeling like a walk, a visit to Manning Gorge this
afternoon is recommended. Camping overnight Mt Barnett Station.

Day 16: Mt Barnett
Station - King Edward River Today we leave the Gibb River Road, and
travel to Kalumburu Road to Mitchell Plateau, visiting Drysdale River
Station. Our camp will be on the banks of the river, an afternoon dip
here, and a chance to explore the area before dinner is a must. Camping
overnight King Edward River. (B/L/D)
Day 17: Mitchell Plateau and Falls We make full use of
our 4WD capacity today, to take us to the Mitchell Plateau. Livistonia
palms abound in this rugged region. Experience an optional helicopter
flight over these falls, you can see most of the remotest country in the
world. While swimming and overlooking the cascading falls, take a moment
out, realising just where you are on the map. Camping overnight King
Edward River. (B/L/D)
Day 18:
King Edward River - Ellenbrae Station This morning we visit
Aboriginal paintings in the area, we must now depart our river camp and
Mitchell Plateau and travel back down Kalumburu Road to rejoin the Gibb
River Road. Tonight we camp at unique Ellenbrae Station. (B/L/D )
Day
19: Ellenbrae Station - Kununurra Our journey takes
us through the majestic Cockburn Ranges, have your cameras ready as we
wind our way towards El Questro Station. A walk to stunning Emma Gorge,
with a rewarding swim in the crystal clear waters. Camping overnight
Kununurra. (B/L/D)
Day 20:
Kununurra Free day today, to enjoy the many attractions of
Kununurra. Overnight Kimberleyland Caravan Park. (B)
Day 21: Kununurra - Bungle
Bungles An early start as we’re off to the Bungle’s unbelievable
beehive formations, and view plunging gorges that will leave you
breathless. A visit to Echidna Chasm with its 150 metre sheer rock face.
Camping overnight Bungle Bungle National Park. (B/L/D)
Day 22: Bungle Bungle’s A full
day to take in the wonder of “Purnululu”, starting with an optional
helicopter flight over this amazing sight is a must. Then lunch in
Cathedral Gorge and an afternoon walk to Mini Palms. Camping overnight

Day 23: Bungle Bungle’s -
Timber Creek Sadly we leave
Purnululu today and head to Kununurra for a short stop. We then cross the
Northern Territory Border, pass through Timber Creek and on to Victoria
River. Camping overnight Big Horse Creek. (B/L/D)
Day 24: Timber
Creek - Darwin This morning we visit Katherine Gorge and Edith
Falls for a relaxing swim, en route to our final destination point of the
city of Darwin when our West Aussie Adventure officially ends! (B/L)
