of Fantaseas Reefworld, the largest offshore facility on Australias Great
Barrier Reef.

Reefworld,
with a capacity for up to 900 people, consists of two floating platforms with conveniences
such as change rooms, fresh water showers, childrens swimming enclosures, large
uncrowded open sundecks and extensive shaded areas where you can enjoy the lavish buffet
lunch.
Both snorkellers and
divers are well catered for at Reefworld. Snorkelling provides a great opportunity for all
guests to experience the wonderful colour and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef up
close. Every snorkeller receives an individually sealed mouthpiece to complement their
fins and mask. |
For
divers, the shaded submerged dive platform or "Moon-pool" area allows divers to
explore the reef from underneath Reefworld. For the first time diver the Moon-pool
provides a safe platform to learn the basic skills. Fantasea has a skilled team of dive
instructors to ensure the dive experience is equal to the best anywhere in the world.
For those who would
rather stay dry, you can get close to the reef in the comfort of our glass hulled
submersible or 50 seat underwater observatory. |

Optional Extras Available:
Scuba Diving for
both first time and certified divers. A history of certain medical conditions may preclude
a guest from SCUBA diving unless a current Diving Medical Certificate can be shown to the
instructor. All divers are subject to a medical questionnaire on board vessel before
diving.

An
Environmental Management Charge of $4.00 per head is charged to tourist operators for all
visitors over 4 years of age to the Great Barrier Reef and environs. The Great Barrier
Reef Marine Park Authority has the responsibility for the management, protection and
sustainability of the Great Barrier Reef. The EMC is being used for this purpose, to
ensure the continued enjoyment of the reef and its environs for future generations.
All prices are
in Australian Dollars and include the $4.00 EMC. All prices valid to 31 March
2007.
