Erramango - "the land of Mangoes" is one of the largest and least populated Islands in Vanuatu. The interior is mainly forested mountains, so most of the population live in Villages around the rugged coast. It does however have some wonderful walks, and has some of the last free standing Kauri Forests in the world - excellent for trekking and bushwalking.

Accommodation

The guesthouse is basic but clean, and has been extended to sleep up to 10 People. A shower is located on the side of the building and there is a western flush toilet closeby.  Solar power is used for lighting only (no inverter).

There is also a restaurant that does simple cooking of local produce for guests. They don’t sell Alcohol, so if you drink you have to bring it from Port Vila

Custom Forest Walk -  This walk is a guided tour through tracks in this famous forrest where you can see the large Kauri trees, and also the well known Sandelwoods which where formerly logged. Also youi will see a variety of other trees and plants which your guide will be able to point out, and tell you about. Cost: NZD51.00 Single, NZD28 additional persons

Caves and Beach Tour (includes picnic) - This tour takes you to a famous cave, an hours walk from the Bungalow. The cave at Suva beach has ancient bones, including skeletons, and also some very old hand drawings. Cost: NZD 51.00 Single, NZD28.00 additional persons

3 Day/2 night Bush Trekking/camping tour - includes all meals, guide and entry fee. A must do for enthusiastic trampers who like magnificent scenery!  On this trek you will head into an inland forrest reserve among the central ranges, go through grasslands, and finally return to the white sands of Suva Beach. Cost: NZD172.00 per person.

Trawling Fishing - a great opportunity to experence some fishing with the locals in Vanuatu. See their fishing methods, and the type of fish that can be caught locally. Cost: NZD42.00 per hour by boat.
