About The Tongan Beach Resort The Tongan Beach resort is located on the beachfront of the island of 'Utungake. There is safe swimming at all tides. We have a fully licensed restaurant featuring local and international cuisine with local fish dishes fresh from the sea being a specialty. We have a weekly BBQ and Fia Fia night with local entertainment and dancing. Other features include, lounge bar, beach bar, library, gift shop and laundry service. Organised boat trips visit uninhabited islands and there are overland tours. There are also sea kayaks and Laser sailboats, or you can just have a swim from the balcony of your own over-water bungalow.

The resort has two over-water bungalows, six twin/double rooms and six triple rooms. All the rooms are sun dappled and feature inspiring views of the white sand beach and crystal clear, turquoise waters of Port of Refuge Harbour. The rooms are all recently refurbished and include private facilities, hot showers, electric fans, fridges and tea/coffee making facilities.
