Taravana Yacht Charters, Bora Bora, French Polynesia

TARAVANA is a proven, 50-foot state-of-the-art prototype Lock Crowther-design ocean cruising catamaran superbly equipped for comfort, stability and sportfishing. Each of the spacious double cabins offers queen-size bunks and semi-private facilities. The extra large main salon serves as both a living room and dining room which can easily accommodate up to six people.

You and the captain, Richard Postma, can customize the course of your charter. Richard has over 25 years of sailing experience in French Polynesia.

TARAVANA'S maiden 18,000 mile voyage included fishing stops in Valdivia, Chile, the Galapagos islands, Costa Rica, Mexico, California, Hawaii, the Marquesas and Bora Bora. Since TARAVANA'S 1995 arrival in the Leeward Islands of French Polynesia, this unique vessel has compiled an impressive fishing record. Some of TARAVANA'S recent tournament victories include:

On a day cruise, you can explore Bora Bora's beautiful protected lagoon or ocean sail and sportfish near the atoll of Tupai. A two-day cruise can easily include visits to the nearby islands of Taha'a and Raiatea.

Whether under sail or crusing under power with the assist of TARAVANA's twin 100 hp diesels, you'll enjoy a comfortable cruise aboard this luxurious catamaran.

1/2 Day, Full-Day and Overnight Private Charter
You can customize your Charter and make it private to you and your guests. There are many possibilities and we suggest you talk to the captain to understand all the options available to you to make a very SPECIAL DAY.

Overnight Charters include 3 meals a day plus wine with lunch and dinner. Pick-up / drop-off in Bora Bora.

Excursion To Tupai
Take a full-day excursion to the island closest to Bora Bora, the atoll of Tupai. Travel time is approximately 1 1/2 hours to cross the 10-mile channel. You can sportfish on the way to the reef, enjoy superb snorkeling and have lunch on board on the calm side of the atoll. An UNFORGETTABLE day!!
