| Nestled in the heart of a bay bordered by coconut
palms, in a protected nature reserve, the 'Gite Kanua' is built in the style of a
typical Melenesian village. Situated just 110 kilometres south of Noumea over the
magnificent landscape of the southern mountains and lakes. |

Gite Kanua has bungalows with a
capacity for 4 persons in each. (1 double bed and 2 bunk beds) All equiped
with private facilities. |
| The traditional Melenesian restaurant
serves great local dishes such as bougna, seafood and is a favourite eating place for the
local people from Noumea. |

There are many walking tracks, mountain
biking, canoeing, diving with Kunua Dive, or just laze on the beautiful beach with it's
safe swimming. |
